***OUR NEXT UK FUNDRAISING EVENT***

We have just started a charity called Pachawawas (Children of the Earth) to support the projects Traveller Not Tourist works with in Peru (a school and an orphanage) and this is our first fundraising event.

We have loads of great pre-loved clothes, toys, books, records and other treasures plus stalls by local artists (photography, jewellery and pottery). There will be tea, cakes and home-made lemonade and a few fun activities to take part in as well.

The event starts at 10am and ends at 4pm and will be held at The Elmgrove Centre (which is the green building on the right-hand side of the church if you are on Redland Road), Elmgrove Road/Redland Road (it's on the corner!), Redland, BRISTOL, Avon,BS6 6AH

Please note - there is pushchair/wheelchair access round to the left-hand side of the building.

If you would like to donate items for us to sell, please call 07901 676 445 and speak to Rosie.

If you would like to hear more about the projects in Peru, volunteering or the tours we sell, use the buttons on the left.

We hope to see you on Saturday!

HORSERIDING TRIP

One of the most gratifying experiences you can have with the children is taking them on a trip, especially to do something completely new. Anibal, owner of Horse Tours Pa'Enrique, offered us the amazing opportunity to introduce some of the children to the joys of horseriding. With the help of ALT Transportes Turisticos who donated the use of 2 of their buses and the drivers' time, we managed to get to the riding ground, which the Local Authorities kindly granted us permission to use. The children had a wonderful time, on the journey there as well as in the horses, and we are very grateful to all those who made the trip possible. Thank you!

On the bus, the kids were nearly as excited about the seatbelts and big seats as they were about the horses!Anne Marie helping out. We led the horses so the children wouldn't get too nervousSofia has learning difficulties so Abbie rode with her. Although she looks a bit scared, Sofia really got a lot from the experience.
